These terms govern your use of the ReconX website at macrecon.net and the reconciliation service we provide. By using the site or engaging the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
ReconX is a done-for-you reconciliation service: you send us two or more sets of records, and we return a reconciliation showing matched, partially matched and unmatched items. During our pilot phase, access is limited and offered at our discretion, and the first reconciliation may be provided free of charge.
Our reconciliation output is provided to support your own review. It is not an audit, an assurance engagement, or accounting, tax or legal advice, and it does not replace the professional judgement of your finance team or auditors. You are responsible for reviewing and approving the results before relying on them.
We handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy, and we will sign your non-disclosure agreement on request. You agree that the ReconX software, methods and matching logic are our confidential property.
Pricing for paid work is agreed in writing before the work begins. [Add your pricing, or “contact us for a quote.”]
The ReconX name, website, software and underlying reconciliation engine remain our property. You retain ownership of the data you provide and of the reconciliation results we deliver to you.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReconX is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability arising from the service is limited to [the fees paid for the work concerned, or an agreed amount]. The service is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis.
Either party may stop using or providing the service at any time. The sections on confidentiality, intellectual property and liability survive termination.
These terms are governed by the laws of [your country / jurisdiction].
We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version.
