ReconX (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides a done-for-you reconciliation service at macrecon.net. This policy explains what information we handle and how we look after it. For any question, email hello@macrecon.net.

What information we handle

• Reconciliation data you send us — the financial records, ledgers, statements and related files you provide so we can perform a reconciliation. Depending on your files, these may include transaction details and counterparty names.
• Contact information — the email address and any message you submit through our waitlist or contact form, so that we can reply.
• Basic technical data — standard web-server logs from your visit (such as IP address and browser type) kept by our hosting provider for security and reliability. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use it

• To perform the reconciliation you request and deliver the result to you.
• To respond to your enquiry and, with your consent, keep you informed about early access.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your reconciliation data to train artificial-intelligence models.

How your reconciliation data is processed

Your reconciliation files are processed on an isolated, offline machine that we control — not on shared public-cloud infrastructure. For this client data we do not use third-party sub-processors, and your files are not passed to analytics services or AI models. On request, we will work from masked data (identifiers in place of names) and sign your non-disclosure agreement before you send anything.

Website forms and service providers

Two providers support the website itself, and they handle only the contact details you submit here — never your reconciliation files:

• Formspree processes submissions from our waitlist and contact forms in order to deliver them to us, subject to its own privacy policy.
• [Hostinger] hosts this website and keeps standard server logs.

How long we keep it

• Reconciliation source files are deleted on a fixed schedule after your reconciliation has been delivered and accepted — within [30] days, unless you ask us to remove them sooner.
• Contact details are kept until you ask us to remove them or they are no longer needed.

Security

Files are exchanged over an encrypted channel rather than plain email attachments, access is limited to those performing your work, and processing takes place offline. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take measures appropriate to the sensitivity of financial data.

Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email hello@macrecon.net and we will respond. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as [the GDPR / your local data-protection law].

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version.
